After the passage of House Enrolled Act (HEA) 1449-2023, current 7th and 8th grade Hoosier students who are financially eligible for Free and Reduced Price Lunch will be automatically enrolled.
KIS Parents, we recognize all students are currently receiving free lunch, but those parents/families that meet free/reduced eligibility guidelines must still turn in the free/reduced application to the KIS office so your child can be automatically enrolled into the 21st Century Scholars Program. Enrollment for the 21st Century Scholars Program can only occur from October 1st of a student's 7th grade year to June 30th of a student's 8th grade year.
